DSA Staff Spotlights

We appreciate you taking the time to complete the form below and share the impact this staff person has made in the division.  Whether this person has presented at a conference, won an award, excelled in supporting students, exhibited behaviors or character worth mentioning, this is the right place to spotlight your colleague. 

Nominations may be submitted at any time. Once reviewed by the PDC Staff, the DSA VP will be notified and reach out to your nominee.  Nominees may receive a visit or handwritten note from the DSA VP, may be featured in the PDC Staff Spotlight webpage, social media, and/or the Annual Student Affairs Awards Celebration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All submissions received by 2pm on the last Monday of each month are eligible for recognition in the the following month.

    All nominations will be processed and reviewed for necessary edits and posted on the PDC Staff Awards website. Dr. Arneson, nominees and the nominators will be notified on the Friday prior to posting and announcements.

    Spotlight nominees will be announced via email to the DSA from Dr. Arneson.

    Spotlight Nominees are published on the website on the First Monday of every month by 2:00 p.m.

    As there are no limitations to spotlighted nominees, Dr. Arneson at his discretion will recognize each spotlight nominee as appropriate, with a cookie and either a handwritten note, or personal visit.

    Each quarter, the spotlighted nominees will be placed into a randomized selection process and one individual will be eligible for a podcast interview: Spotlights with Nicole. The podcast will be available on the website.

  • Being recognized as Division of Student Affairs Spotlight can include the following forms of recognition:

    • Website recognition
    • Division-wide recognition in email
    • Recognition by Vice President Dr. Arneson
    • Photo opportunity and posting social media
    • Eligibility for quarterly Spotlight interview
